“EAAP Regional Meeting 2023”
Meeting Privacy Policy
The “EAAP Regional Meeting 2023″ will take place from April 26th to 28th, 2023, in Nitra (Slovakia). It is organized by EAAP.
Your personal data in the context of the Meeting shall be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation).
The data controller is EAAP.
The legal basis for the processing operation is article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (consent).
The purpose of the processing of personal data is to organise the Meeting as an on-site and online event, register the event’s participants through the Meeting website (https://regional2023.eaap.org/), provide registered participants access to the Meeting, as well as communicate with the registered participants within the scope of the Meeting.
The following personal data are processed for the event participants:
- Contact data (first name, last name, email address, institution, address, VAT number/Tax Registration number/Tax fiscal code), collected upon registration on the website.
The Meeting will be audio/video recorded. The Meeting’s proceedings, including the presentations files, will be stored by EAAP and made available on demand to EAAP members on an access-restricted area of EAAP website (Members’ area) and after one year from the meeting on open access for dissemination purposes
The participants’ personal data, including the Meeting’s proceedings, will be kept by EAAP for a maximum period of 12 months after the end of the Meeting, unless the participants have provided their consent upon registration for further processing by EAAP (in order for the participants to get informed about future EAAP activities and events). In the latter case, EAAP will keep the contact data until the participants withdraw their consent.
Personal data will be deleted after the end of the retention period.
Recipients of personal data: access to your personal data is granted only to designated EAAP staff, who are involved in the organization of the Meeting.
Storage of personal data: the personal data are stored on EAAP’s server and are only processed within the EU/EEA.
You have the right to access to your personal data and to relevant information concerning how we use it. You have the right to rectify your personal data. Under certain conditions, you have the right to ask that we delete your personal data or restrict its use. You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time. We will consider your request, take a decision and communicate it to you. You have the right of recourse at any time to the supervisory authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) (http://www.garanteprivacy.it/).
